I came upon this in a stange way in the Music Discussion Forum. Weird. So I guess that you guys should get a look at it too. I haven't even heard of this new club in Ottawa. Anyone wanna make comments on the club, go right ahead.
Oh, and San is a pretty good DJ to see, not to mention Santoshi and Brad.

Club Space is the club formerly known as "China White"....same club...new name....
it is NOT an afterhours...just a regular club....a nice place in my opinion. The Sound system there is OK...if they turn up the volume, you can expect to have some ringing in your ears afterwards. To be honest, that club is not meant for music....it is just a place for the hottest women and men in the area to show themselves off on the weekend. Having said that, Seeing Satoshi there should be great fun;) |

IMO, this will be a ty night. That club has a capacity of like 100 people. It gets stankin hot, the sound ain't the best. However the line up is well worth it for the djs. I can't see myself going if there is better stuff on, it will be just too hot! |

I would go just to see VH3. Finally this guy gets booked. But $25 is just too expensive. |

the club can easily hold more than 100 people...more like a 800 on a busy night....but by that point u are gonna be packed like sardines. |

since it has been changed to club space they have changed a lot of things such as the ventilation system in there. they will be using both sides so there will be 2 rooms to the event.
i know the guy who's running this event and he knows what he's doing. these are the same guys that brought deep dish to ottawa (the time before surface), and max graham on canada day. these guys know what they're doing. it should be a great party. |

here's a message from the promoter of the event:
"Hi all,
thought I'd take the time to clear some things up for you. We chose this venue because of the central location. Since the renovations we feel it's the nicest looking bar in the city. The sound system is easily better then that of surface, and we're bringing in extra sound to boot. With both sides (and we have 2 rooms for this), we're looking at a legal capacity of 500, which was more or less what atomic had back in the day. We've got the bar till 6-7am, and some of the best talent in the city and from abroad. And at 20$ in advance, I don't think you can go wrong. The patio doors will be open, so smokers can smoke, and that should keep the place nicely ventelated as well. If you have any questions, mail me at cycle_ottawa@hotmail.com. Cheers,
Raphael" |

In anycase.. Sam mehat and doc savage should spin some trance so thats always a plus for the TA's here. Great lineup in my opinion. |

vh3 is one of the best and most underrated/underbooked trance djs in canada...check out his radio show every friday 12-2 at ckcu 93.1 fm
http://www.ckcufm.com
he plays only the best epic and "dutch" trance
this party WILL be sick.....the promoters have their together!
mehat play bomb west coast epic trance
doc and vh3 play sick trance...s.i.n with hard trance
and copeland likely plays the best progressive/tech in canada
and then that satoshi guy...... :)
trevor walker is wicked too...deep funky house
anyway, thc club is pretty big..main room is really nice..
they'll do it up proper....$20 is a deal for this party
plus, at 19+, ya can't go wrong
btw, like that poster? ;) |

davey jon pacheco is probably the best house music in ottawa. |

VH3 = t3h sh1t
Doc Savage is good too
Satoshi plays some funky strange stuff.
But I'm really narrow minded when it comes electronic music; I only like TRANCE. It's kinda funny, I like many different genres of music but when it comes to electronica I can only listen to trance. |
