Ok on Thursday night i looked at the trading post and saw a Mitsubishi Magna Excecutive 89' for $2000 (I'm not rich so don't laugh :D ), the owner was a granny so they wouldn't have thrashed it (i hope not :sadgreen: ), anywayz the milage thing had only done 67000km..

I can drive this tomorrow cause i gotta deal with the bloody insurance companies and stuff..

Was this a good deal?

Well it's a first car, second car i'm trying to get a Skyline or WRX or 300zx..

BUT this was only a runabout car to make me go from A to B.

I hope you got one with power steering cause they are like driving a brick on wheels with out it.

For $2k with that many km's sounds orrite. its a 2.6ltr 100kw engine so it has a little bit of go. For getting you from a-b it will do fine.

Enjoy your first car and drive safe! :)

agreed definately DO NOT get it if it is auto otherwise you'll be breaking down every hundred or so kilometres as the magnas had auto gearbox problems which can't be fixed.
Also check if the car has been regularly serviced, hence log books/service history etc that also tells you how well the car has been kept
