Ok so I havent heard a lot of these tracks, but I'd still like to know whats going on here. Why is this being marketted as an Irish album???????
Go look on the website and click the info button. Then read it. Its bull.
Now I know there is a lot of marketing and stuff going on, but what they've written is crap. Ireland has a tiny trance etc culture compared to elsewhere - the bulk of this country rests on cheese and r&b, and all that pop e. ie: I do not know ONE person in Real Life (ie off the internet) that likes trance. They all ing hate it.
They say "This has been put together to reflect Irelands dance culture". No it hasnt. That tracklist does have a few Irish authors, but thats it. None of those tracks are EVER HEARD in an Irish club, cept if Godskitchen comes over or we get a rare visit from a top DJ. For example. Marco V - Atlanta is NEVER played here. Only Marco himself would play that if he comes over, but I'd be almost willing to bet that that track has NEVER BEEN PLAYED IN A CLUB IN THIS COUNTRY.
I wont go on, cos I know I'm gonna piss a lot of people off with this, but from someone living in Ireland who is completly devoid of any form of trance in the clubs of his part of the country, a trance album built on an Irish 'reputation' is infuriating.
This is just a cash in. People will see "Ireland Euphoria" and get it as it has Ireland in the title and a dirty great shamrock on the front. Oh well, at least it may bring a few souls over to the Trance scene.
I **might** buy a copy. It depends if I'm in a better mood tomorrow. I've been in a Quantum Physics exam today. :nervous: |

I know plenty of people in Ireland who like trance, there is more of a scene in the north of the country in Belfast, Derry Donegal and Lush http://www.kellysportrush.co.uk/index2.htm brings a big trance dj over about once every 4-5 weeks.
It probably is a marketing ploy for the Irish market with the Irish ecinomy doing better over the last few years but the euphoria series apart from the Joof series is a commerical album series anyway.

| Some of those tracks have been around for 'donkeys' years. It's a fecking joke. Surprised there notgiving a free bag of spuds(potatoes) with it. |

| Phil Kieran is from just outside Belfast actually, cracking dj, one to watch. Look out for his essential mix in the next few weeks. I hope it gives him the big break that he deserves. |
