What a disgrace :whip:
I've just been watching that twat Andy Townsend on ITV trying hard to justify why Real Madrid should be allowed their goal despite having almost half their team offside and the linesman's flag up. Andy Townsend is all "well rules are rules, Des" when it suits him and now he's "well they weren't interfering with play". Of course Juve couldn't block the shot, they were out in the box playing Real offside! And of course Real were interfering with play - you think the goakeeper was oblivious to the fact there were 3 players yards in front of goal? He had to block a shot as well as block 3 players, and we're supposed to think their presence didn't change anything?
As soon as the ball left Carlos's foot Real Madrid had broken the offside rule. They had 4 men way offside, 3 of them right in front of goal and another yards away from the linesman, who promtly raised his flag. Just because the ball whistles in the net you can't play it on! Fact is Juve sacrificed having men in the box to block the shot so that they could utilise the offside trap. They did this successfully, only to find the offside trap doesn't count anymore! Juventus have been robbed.
I have to say it was a dull game overall, and given the size of the stadium it was unbelievably quiet from the fans. Both sides were too strong in defence, but Juventus are capable of going through and I believe they deserve to after today. |

I don't mean to sound petty, but those itv commentators are so anti-italian it's unbelievable. I've noticed it throughout previous tournaments and this one. their always getting snide comments in about how italian teams don't know how to attack, or how there always diving. and they can never give praise to italian teams either.
Take toldo's save against valencia. All it got was a belated "that was a good, good save from toldo..." when really it was the save of the tournament. and certainlly the best save i had ever seen in my lifetime (until smeichal against liverpool on saturday there).
Having not seen the game myself i can't really comment, but I really hope juve go thru cos i can't stand real madrid especially that wee in tosser carlos......

id just like too point out that Roberto Carlos is e when it comes too freekicks, i mean you got zidane and Figo with much better freekicks than that little ******.
oh and roberto carlos is the dude that has shoot most times on goal in championsleague, lucky him he got a goal on tuesday.
watch him next time he takes a freekick, he just shoots as hard as he can no aiming just hit it for the goal as hard as you can!

| Yip congratulations to Juve, they were brilliant, Nedved has gotta be the best midfielder in Europe. The ITV commentators and pundits are just twats, Ron Atkinson doesnt have a clue and the rest are just so bias towards the English teams, I keep hearing oh Man Utd have already beat them twice (IT WAS IN THE FCUKIN GROUPS) and they dont know how to attack, fcuk off you twats and get a life!!!! |

They are biased to Man Utd, yes, but not all English teams. You should have seen the e they spouted about Newcastle time and time again! That's on the rare occasion when they decided to ing show us on ITV1 instead of Liverpool and Celtic who are only the UEFA Cup! :whip: |
