Help me with scratching...is there something wrong with my tables??

Everytime when i try to scratch the vinyl, the needle jumps and i lose the beat...am i doing something wrong? Is there something wrong with my technic 1200's??
help me!!!

| set the anti skate to 0 and increase the weight on the tonearm |

| Also, though this is a rare problem, check the needles themselves, look at the front and see if the needle part is slightly misaligned. Sometimes if the needle is slightly bent to the left or right (can happen if you drop it, for example, if you drop the tonearm on the side of the platter while it's spinning.. *cringe*), then it might skip. |

what kind of needles are you using?
might be that they are not made for that kind of abuse |
