I listened to the last couple hours of the show. My assessement is that Tiesto did screw up a few times but he had been playing for countless hours at that point. I didn't really care all that much I must say because he MORE than made up for by dropping some wicked ass tunes. I really enjoyed Jan Johnston's performance in addition to that african drum number. Very cool stuff.
More importantly, however, I was completely blown away by the concert as a whole. He managed to combine so many different styles, ways of playing, etc, one could tell that it was completely and utterly about the music. He demonstrated how universal it is and how all the genres can come together and one can truly appreciate what music really is. I look forward to hearing the rest of the concert that I missed (I was at work). Fantastic work Tiesto...
Faith in Tiesto: RESTORED!!! |

Well I love the concert..
But, take a listen to Andain - Beautiful Things at about 52:10 through part 1 (Twc version).. OUCH she's out of tune! :eyes:
I don't know if anybody's already mentioned this - there's far too many replies to crawl through and check. |
