TA clan for CS?

call me crazy but i've been thinking, and if this already exists then just let me know, what about a TA clan? my roommate Dj AI and I have been members of TA since early 2001 and so has AI...we were thinking of dedicating a website and other necessary time-consuming efforts to make this work...if this did work and a clan began to formulate, then naturally, i think i would enter a league, ie CAL, OGL, or something...but that would require a server...since i'm running off a cable modem, i don't think a server located here would be viable, so maybe a dedicated server would either have to be donated or funded by the members of the clan...these are just rough ideas, but definitely feasible...im hopin to accumulate stats, forums, news, and other info on the website...any suggestions, ideas, or opinions are welcomed...the more depth added, the better the results...

well i guess no one's interested...
i may still go ahead wit creating a clan cuz i think its a cool idea...would really like some feedback tho...well, i guess if no one wants in now, then dun ask about it later if its formed...how hard is typing fellas, even to say that this idea is bad..jeez...lazy peepz up in here...and dun tell me none of ya'll play CS cuz CS threads get the most view here or nearly the most...argh... |

well, i think cosmic is on the right track...it could be like [TA-I] for TA Team Israel and for canada and the US it could just be [TA] since we would all be relatively close to each other...
and mndeg, you are right, pings would be high if i wanted to play with different member cells but i think that would not necessarily always happen...yah occasionally, for matches and such we might need to coordinate teammembers from other branches but in general, [TA-I] would play in leagues nearby them, while the same would apply for each individual chapter at whatever location...
cleared up a bit?
currently whenever i get a chance to play, i've been testing out the look of [TA]Killa|3eanZ ...i think it looks good... |

i think its a very nice idea and can be very succesful coz it can be a very big international clan..
if u want we get get an irc chan and start working it out.. |

got the ok from swamper to go ahead and form a clan...awesome...now that i have my own personal webspace on my computer, i will dedicate some space to a clan website and hopefully stats mods as well...as for a server, i don't think my cable modem will cut it...haha...maybe for emergency clan matches but other than that, i think we need to find a generous member with connects or declare membership donations...we'll see...and cosmic, are you familiar with irc?...does anyone?...well, if you do, please reply and let us know...im not too good wit irc or moderating it so if someone could hook it up, i think it would be greatly appreciated...as for assigning extra op's to keep the channel alive, i would be more than willing to dedicate one of my computers with that channel on 24/7...anyhow let me know asap people...and start to spread the word...online that is...see ya around fellas....

| i would join the clan, but i totally suck. :D anyway, i get consistency errors when i try to join a server after changing my player model skins. can anyone help with that? |

consistency errors?...what do you mean by that?...please explain...but i would suggest to revert back to your original skins or the skin pack you downloaded has a bug...which most do cuz they are made by amateurs...so sometimes there are conflicts with the scripts and the video card processing manifest...anyhow, even if you are a beginner in CS, all are welcomed that are members of TA...i will be posting either rules and such here or an addy to tha website where the rules will be posted...but basically:
1. all current TA members here will be allowed to join...(divided by your region if need be, or just use [TA] as a master cell...
2. ABSOLUTELY NO CHEATERS, HACKERS, HAXORZ, or whatever else you want to call it, JUST DON'T USE THEM IN THIS CLAN...
