hey everyone...i remember downloading a small program a few years back that would take a sound file, can't remeber if it was only for wav or mp3 too, but it would be able to take whatever sound sample and manipulate to whichever setting you wanted: i.e. alien, underwater, several other ones, but i forget...
anyone have a clue about which program this might be?...if not, is there a program similar to the one i described out there??
any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated...thanks...

download Cool Edit 2.0!
It has included the effects you asked for and many others too like flanger and distortion. But do not download Cool Edit Pro, it is more a sequencer than an editing tool.

something I forgot:
You need not search for the full programm on warez sites, you can download a shareware version from the site of syntrillium (dunno whether I spelled it correctly). Then you only need to get a key from the web to activate the disabled funtions.
