You can burn the VCD's with nero, which is available here. http://www.ahead.de/en/
Another option would be adaptec easy cd creator, if you have it.
The trick is you need to have a vcd compliant stream which requires having certain resolution/bitrate mpeg video stream. You may have to re-encode your files which degrades the quality a bit.
Here is a really good and free mpeg encoder that'll do VCD/SVCD compliant stuff. http://www.tmpgenc.com/e_main.html
If you want high visual quality and have good source files you could also try using SVCD. It uses supports higher resolutions/bitrates and uses mpeg2 which yields better quality than VCD. The only setback is it takes up more space on a CD,which shouldn't be an issue for music videos. Be aware that some DVD players can't play SVCD's, but it would be worth trying to find out. As far as I know only nero lets you burn SVCD. |

| all i know is...currently, only mpeg/mpg is supported when it comes to converting to vcd. so what you're gonna have to do is convert whatever the file format is of the video, be it avi/pmg/mov etc to mpg/mpeg before burning as a vcd. |

Well there are several programs out there to do such work, some of the easier ones to use are: Adaptec Easy CD Creator and Nero. If you have an avi file and would like to convert it to vcd, you have to convert it to mpg fist with programs like flask, etc. |

| k..first off get Nero(u n I do the same..come talk to me..got lots of vids) u can burn mpeg to the CD no prob. The biggest problem is to hope that the dvd played takes the brand of CD. for some reason the panasonic takes the VCDs i burn, but some tracks dont work..in the sony they do work.. its all messed up and cant figure out why. Burn the Mpeg to the Cd is easy..set burn speed to 1X and leave it overnight. thats the best way. To get AVI to VCD, convert to mpeg first, then burn. Quality will be a bit lower, oh..and if u r using those vids I took from slinky 2..ill be very upset @ u! |
