corsair xms pc2700 aluminum C2pt1 & 9cm enermax fan

Ok one
ABout the corsair ram.. I bought the thermal take cooling active kit with that fan dingy.. and I took one of the aluminums off the corsair ram and stuck the cooper orange one with the fan on it. But I did not install the blue one which was for the other side I left the corsair aluminum. Would it have any effect on the ram or its all good?
Second the 9cm enermax fan
I have a chieftec blue dragon case with a window on the side and I tried putting the 9cm fan on the front grille but there are no screw holes but a guard there where that guard only fits smaller fans.
Do you know any other technique to bind this baby to the case and get a good airflow? |

havint the aluminum heat spreader on the other stick of ram and not the thermaltake blue one will be fine, as the aluminum heatspreaders that come with the ram are fine anyways.
as to the fan i told u what to do in irc :P |

i got a case just like urs with 7fans..
3 in the front - AIR IN
2 in the back - Air Out
1 in top - air out
1 on sidepanel - air in
**these are not including 2psu fans and one cpu fan (SmartFan 2 very noisy :-) |

imm using panaflow 80mm fans, they are nice and quite, the noisest thing in my system atm is my powersupply thats rated at 33dba.
in terms of noise most fans do have a noise rating, since dba is a logetheric (spelling error) scale it doesnt mean 40dba is twice as loud as 20dba (i think)
in more releastic sense 33dba=the noise of one of those fans u use around the house, 25dba= similar level to the buzz you get on power transformers sometimes (the one on my printer makes a noise so hence why i used that as a comparason) and under 20dba = virtually quite to the human ear, unless there are no other noise sources in the area then it will be faintley noticable
