The broadcast was horrible (the set owned). The stupid radio peopel were talking over the music every time it got good. It reminded me of the guy with the 160kbps radio stream who talks over all the music. And then to increase the fun, they totally lost the connection to the event for about 35 minutes (fox's mention of the "break" between 21 and 22). They ended up playing an older Tiesto set to fill the time.
I also have to say that Andain live sucked. Mavie sang all out of tune. She is really talented, I think she just got really nervous because of the 25000 people there. Jan Johnston was good. But man, #22 on the TL SUCKED SO HARD. I wanted to die (not in the good way).
But it only got better.
The most interesting part of the whole set in my opinion was when that World Cup Theme came on of the band playing or whatever, and then he mixed Cave - Street Carnival into that, it was amazing! (i called it 5 minutes earlier too :D)
Overall, it made me see Tiesto in a new light, compared to other recent sets. I am really excited to see him in a week =).
Oh, and one last thing, when Tiesto yelled "OOOOOOOOooooOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!" it was SOOOOO funny. Me and peter were laughin about it for a while hehe. |
