I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching Armin play, so bring it on. His energy and infectious enthusiasm guarantee a great night out. Straight-up banging uplifting trance.
He's not stupid: he knows those of us front and centre are involved in a bit of hero-worship. So what does he do? A PvD-style wave? Naw, he just fkn jumps around with everyone else. Rock on :cool:

As much as I love armin, I was actually checking the GK Oct 02 Melb thread the other day and was pretty shocked. I wasn't into spotting then so when I read it I couldn't beleive the amount of tunes which he was still playing at Two tribes. ASOT shows how much different tuneage he has - so why not use it? |

probably because the majority of the australian public arent trance literate so he thinks he has to play a 'dumbed down' set. Just look at tiesto's summerbreeze album, it was a compliation of well known/successfull tunes for the american public because tiesto knew if he put the latest tunes on it , no 1 there would know them.
On the same token i hold tiesto in higher reguard to armin because hes not afraid to play new tracks and tunes, whereas most of armin sets are all time-tested tracks. |
