I hope there has not been a thread for this topic as i cant be arsed searching. anyways , i was nearly killed a few days ago, as a car lost control comming towards us and ploughed into a wall like 6ft away from us i really did my self, i just froze for some reason when i should of bailed.

Another time i nearly died was in a massive foam party / rave , the foam came out in like a blob , rather than being sprayed out all over da place, anyways the DJ said if you have trouble breathing , breathe into your shirt , and if you have panic attacks don't go in. Anyways like a piss head i didn't listen and went in , evreyone else had surgical masks on and sheeit , anyways the foam came out in a massive blob it was like 5ft high over a radious os 10 meters, then Gouryella kicked in and 100's of crazy ravers started going crazy , anyway i lost my breath a few times but did the old t-shirt trick, now everyone was squashed together like a boat full of 'jigger's' , i lost my breath and swallowed loadsa nasty foam , my eyes were stingin, and i started to choke, i tried to breathe but i missed my t-shirt due to panicing , 20 secs later and i went really dizzy, the choons where banging everyone where going crazy , i tried to push out but everyone were trying to get near the foam, i had no breath for like 1 min now, aswell as panicing i myself i thought i was gonna die, i had to punch my way out in one last struggle for air, i finally got out, then some dude picked me off the floor and carried us to this room and gave me some oxygen, that was some scary .

i love to hear J00r's .

Mine:

I was going to the post office with my bicycle and I had to cross an avenue. I looked left and there were no cars... looked right and there were a couple of cars... I waited for them and I decided to cross... however, I forgot to look left again, and when I did, I was in the middle of the bloody avenue and there was this car coming toward me. I tried to go faster, but it was too close and when I thought of a maneuver that could get me out of that situation but, the car hit me. It wasn't as bad as it sounds: I fell off my bike and just cut myself (while my poor bike was totally destroyed), but it's not something that happens twice :p

It was weird to arrive in the post office carrying half of a bike with my bloody hands (literally) :toothless

Funny, I was just talking to my wife about this the other night, only we were talking about guardian angels. My near-death experience took place when I was a sophmore in high school. Four of us were in one car, driving home from a football game across town. My girfriend and I were in the backseat, while her two friends were up front. None of us had our seatbelts on. The driver started goofing around on the road, just being an idiot and swerved in and out of both lanes. Well, she swerved a little too harshly and couldn't recover, which sent our car off the road going 55-60 mph. Because our momentum was taking us forward, and because the tires were pointing sideways, we immediately flipped over while being airborn. We were told by witnesses that we flipped 5-6 times off to the side. We flipped over a fence post, and then landed upright on our wheels (or what was left of them) on a side road RIGHT NEXT TO A GRAVEYARD!!! All four of us opened up our doors, and walked out of the crumpled up car without a scratch on any of us!!! I think it goes without saying that I truly felt that someone or some spirit in that graveyard was watching over us. When looking over at the remains of the car, it simply wasn't possible for all of us to be able to walk away from that without a scratch.

Everytime I go home and pass that point on the highway I always think about that incident. Certainly gave me a little faith in my life.

Hmm, a year ago, I was going on a summer vacation with my car. There was a van in front of me, and I tried to overtake it. So when I went in the opposite direction lane, and was right next to the van, a car came up in front of me. We were both going about 70km/h. I hit the brakes and wanted to get back behind the van, but the road was all greased up because of the oil-leaking trucks that often go there. So I started sliding. Well, instinctively, i pulled the steering wheel to the right, to get back in my lane. The other car went off the road, into a clearing of some sort, and avoided me. I remembered then to release the brakes, and since my steering wheel was twisted, I spun up and ended up in front of the van, but in perpendicular position. The van hit me and rolled me over. When I got out I noticed several candles just a few meters from where I crashed. The guys from the hauling truck which took my car told me that every few month someone dies on that spot.

Well, at least my parents didn't find out anything about it.

Wow some interesting stories! The closest I've ever come was one night it there was a blizzard going on outside. The roads were icey and slick but against my parents pleading with me, I insisted on going to the mall to hit up the arcade. Not 2 miles from my house I began down a steep hill. All of the sudden I felt the back end of the car start to fishtail and I lost all control. The car went into 360s down the hill and into oncoming traffic. I spun right in between two oncoming cars, slid into a ditch, and then slammed into a tree. It was strange because cars have that emergency shutoff system in them to prevent the fuel injector from pumping fuel in the event of an emergency. So during the time I was spinning down the hill I was wondering what was going to happen to me and then SLAM, and then pure silence. It freaked me out. No lights, no electrical system, nothing. Cars have a reset switch hidden somewhere that you have to hit I later found out. Anyways, I had to go to a house, call my pissed off Dad and he came with his truck and drug the totaled car home. Sometimes listening to your parents really is a good idea. ;)

In Year 5 or something, Me and some mates were mucking around as you do, swinging punches, and tackling and stuff, then some psycho kid came in with a knife and swung it at everyone. He saw me and came ofter, I ran he stopped for a sec to turn back ,and i grab it from him. Then a week later (After his susspension) He was told my a teacher to put seme scissors away, a second later he stabbed her in the nose :(, Bloody ed up kid he was...

I was 15 (living with my family in a big wooden house) and had lit a candle before going to bed.. which I of course placed on the "bedtable" beside my pillow (ye, I think u get it..poor english here, hehe) fell asleep :( and the candle didnt go out, like it usually does. Instead the top of the table burnt up. On that table I had schoolbooks and a skirt (in a material which is very flammable) skirt and books burnt up.. and then the fire died down..

when I woke up the next morning.. the roof was black (above the table) and I had my nose and mouth full with soot (had some minor trouble breathing... )

scary to think about the fact that my hair was really close to the fire...

anyway, that was when I started to believe I have a guardian angel :) and the lesson I learnt.. never leave a candle burnin' :)

Man I experienced something like that too, but not with foam...
There was a party in a huge tent, and we were walking towards the dj, close to the speakers, it was awfully hot there, no ventilation, and somehow on a moment I couldn't breath anymore, I tried but I couldn't, no oxygen there, man on that moment I ran as fast as I could to the exit of the tent, I couldn't breath until I came out, man this was so bad, I can't explain, I was so lucky I came outside to have some breath, If it had lasted some longer I would have fallen down to the ground.
This is the worst thing ever happened to me, really scary!
