Sequencing: tutorials + questions

I believe the solution for this problem should be quite simple :)
All I need is a basic sequencer which allows me to set details like equalization and compression. I would write a midi file and use it with fruity loops, but the sound often skips when I'm exporting :p I used to use Makewave but, the equalization sucks (because there isn't any :toothless).
And I was wondering: are there tutorials for the most popular softwares that could do this job (such as Reason, Fruity, ...)? I've got a couple of tutorials from reasonstation, but that's all I found :P
Cheers  |

I know it doesn't: I use midi just to place the loops where I want, that's why I used it with fruity loops: it would do the looping and sequencing while I would take care of the rest ;) |

why does it skip when you export stuff?... :nervous:
....it shouldnt skeep & fruity is simply a gr8 tool and a gr8 sequencer...
maybe try using fruity studio 4.. and you won't have the skipping problem?
and if you want a pro sequencer, maybe start learing cubase..?
good luck there  |
