Co-production?

I'm wondering if there is anybody out there in TO, that might be interested in some co-production.
I have been producing beats for over a year & a half now, quite a bit of that time with HanSolo, a member of these here tasty message boards...We do most of our writing in Reason 2.5, which is fantastic production software, but can be somewhat limiting in certain areas. We're looking to add Cubase, or Logic to our software studio in the very near future to take our productions to the next level.
What we'd also like to do is add a third person to our team - someone who has production experience. Ya see, we've got TONS of songs, some sequenced & some just random loops with layers of synths and samples. But we need some creative input on buidling dynamic and intensity within these songs, and producing new & unique synths and samples. And straight up, our biggest weakness is equalizing & mastering volumes and levels.
We'd love somebody to join us with creative input & ideas to further what we strongly believe are already some very unique sounding songs. Orignal song writing is our strong point - making these songs sound THICK & TASTY is where we are looking for some help.

Done a LONG time ago. I wasn't too experienced with music theory or scales back then, so the melody isnt perfect... in fact, the melody I made makes me cringe lol
LeMay - Daybreak (Unfinished)
This is an early early rendition of this track. It has gone a ton of changes, and its still not done. Buildup around 2:25 is killer :D

Chill/ambient experiment. Done in about two hours.

Another chill/ambient experiment. Done for a dream sequence in my drama class

Epic trance tune that is ALMOST done (this is just an earlier sample)
LeMay - Unnamed Track (Unfinished)
Ambient/chill experiment. Not finished yet, I just haven't had time to work on it. Really nice IMHO.
LeMay - A Leo Lost (Unfinished)
Gonna be a really energetic melodic trancer once I have some time to add more elements to create more energy. But I love the feel of it so far.
so yeah, just some of my stuff. I've got DOZENS upon DOZENS or little 8 bar loops from failed projects. I create something new almost every day :D |
