Nyana - The purchase (pg. 3)

Nyana is absolutely awesome - CD1 is great but with CD2... woah! mindblowing - almost feels similar to his 99 set at innercity amsterdam, a CD that i will never let go of !
And to end the second disc with such an incredible track (Solid Globe - North Pole) just tops it all up for me. Fits perfectly into the Tiesto's Majik Journey Sound

I noticed a few off beat mixes in this album and the same in some of the In Search of Sunrise series, but hey... its his own set that I think he wants us to hear as is with no extra computer editting to make it absolutely digitally perfect as some other DJ's do. Anyone can do that.

His track selection and order is just unmatchable, in all albums.

Not long till this hero makes his journey down under. Counting the days..

i've only listened to cd 2, havent had time for cd 1.
he's placed a lot of depth in it but i dunno, it felt like a yo yo, up and down, all over the place. jus when u think it'd peak, it head back down again, once or twice, till the end it picks up, but not enough for me to bother.

i felt more journeyed with the isos series.

I'm going to buy it, what the cd inside cover like? have they put any kewl info into it, or is it a boring old single sleeve, cause if it is!!!

actually i thought ISOS 3 was a bit like a Yo Yo, exactly the way liked you described Nyana above.

i have yet to d/l because i didnt wanna spoil the suprise of buying it new, and have yet to buy it because im now unsure whether its worth spending the money. I find it hard to spend money on Cd's as i could spend the money on more records!

If you had to compare this to another cd of his, which would come closest to matching the style??

That's bollocks, sometimes it's the difference of buying a cd and not buying a cd is by looking at how thick the cd sleeve is.

Dissapointed tijs!

isos3 was a great mix. there was definite flow there, as i remember, by the time gnds mix of mindcircus kicked in, which was bout 3/4 in, i had a huge smile on my face n was feelin very satisfied. but if u thought that was a yo yo, nyana's even more. also got a commercial vibe from the cd for some reason. maybe i've grown out of vocal tunes *shrug* either way, i say save ur money for records son.

There are indeed many cd's that are mixed live, why would anyone doubt that?

Just wondering how many other aussie TA's will support tiesto by buying the album? or will we just keep going on downloading?

can someone please explain in a bit more detail the 'less than ordinary' mixing? a lot of people on TA said that the mixing on ISOS 3 was poor but i haven't found anything wrong with it so far...
i like the look of the tracklist for nyana so im interested in getting it, but if someone would be able to say what they mean with the ordinary mixing then that would be appreciated :)
i mean is there lots of missed beats or tracks out of sync and stuff throughout the whole cd? or is it just 1 or 2 tracks maybe not queued right or 1 or 2 missed beats or something?
Pointy
You'll probably notice the ppl complaining about the mixing dont know about it in the first place!
