Does anyone Remeber the Uprising hardcore nights? Used to have MC Marcus and Kenny Sharp etc... ahh those where the days.
Cant remember where is was held.. anyone? |

| yes me!!!! i do!!! i know they came back for a spring reunion in 2001 cos i went :p used to b the biggest weekly event in the uk during 96 and gre from there..... mcs marcus, jd walker, ell, beatz and space (this was at the runion - i still got the flyers :p ) and djs excel topgroove, demand, alchemist, paul-o and cj glover !!! woooop!!!! hardcore massive make sum noooooooooooise! |

yeah, the adelphi and sheffield, and its still going on.
Got a video of the 8th birthday party which was at the adelphi, from feb 2003. but the music style has changed a hell of a lot. i wouldn't call it hardcore now at all, especially when i hear dj's at uprising playing stuff like das licht - take off and rank 1 - awakening (cosmic gate remix) |

l at the time, used to go into town and buy the cassettes.
And yeha the Adelphi! ah the memories!

i have a tape from jan 2003 ripped to mp3, and i have about 50 other tapes from all years that i can rip to mp3 aswell. but they're so old they might not be that good quality |

depends what u want, i've got the 04/10/02 live a tthe adelphi ripped into mp3 already in 2 parts (a and b side of the tape)
but if ur wanting others i'll have to rip them. to be honest they're all scattered in a draw somewhere and i dont know what they are cos they havent got anything wrote on em lol.
i'm sharing that 04-10-02 one on the emc hub... so browse my file list under live mixes and you'll find it |

omg haha, just listened to that rip of that tape... and oooh dear the mixing is so terrible!
its like its been mixed by a 12 year old just starting out.
but, spose thats part of the uprising atmosphere or sommot lol |
