i want to rip a cd

if i wanted to rip a cd i owned... what would be the best program to use? i've heard that lame is the best for soundquality wise, but whats a good program that uses lame? i'm guess that i could just wave out with winamp.
any info regarding this would be great.
i know theres probably threads abou this already, but i don't feel like searching. |

CDex is a good program to use, you can get it from cnet.com
EAC (exact audio copy) is another good one, it allows you to make one big mp3 out of a mixed CD. |

| Also Audiograbber and dbPowerAMP are great softwares.. |

| dBPowerAmp is awesome software, I tend to use it for mp3/wav conversion. For cd ripping I use MusicMatch cos of it's CDDB capabilities. |

Easy CD-Creator...and if you can't find any of these, I'm sure they're all at http://www.download.com, at least EZ-CD Creator is. I've been using it for ages, and I think it is a very good.

U must have read it wrong man as he asked about ripping cds not burning them u would have bother ripping a cd with easy cd creator,
Exact audio copy is what i use |

I just installed EAC
and managed to rip one track sucessfully
but how do you rip the whole CD into one big mp3 file? |

You can rip CDs with easy cd creator; I believe that they added this feature since the 5th version |
