and if they do they play really old trance?
At least in my country they play sometimes trance but they play old stuff... the newest thing they played was Lange - Drifting away? jeezes...... |

Yeah 92.7 Party. I think it is the same thing as Miami's Party 93.1
Mostly bad tunes, but once in a while they will play something kick ass like Higher State of Conciousness.. |

Bah... The only half-decent radio station around here (Energy 92.7 for all you chicagolanders) went off the air. Every once in awhile they played some decent stuff, but mostly mainstream. Late at night there was clubland mixes, those were always a change of pace.
But alas, I only ever listen to the Cubs on the radio now. (Go Cubs!) |

Our very own TA Alec has his own show from 2am to 7am every other Tuesday morning on the radio. The frequency is 93.1 (which is the Carleton University station) and can also be heard live via the net.
info for other Ottawa TA's;
VH3 spins some great trance every Friday night from 12 to 2am on 93.1.
There are a few other trance radio shows but not really worth mentioning :P |

Here in Italy the only thing similar (mainly techno) to trance is Orgasmatron on Saturday night...

My local radio station is Nova 96.9, they sometimes play a tiny little bit of trance during the day. They were caning Southern Sun about 6 months ago (Original not Tiesto mix :(), lately they've been playing a lot of Plummet - Damaged (Antillas Mix). They play a lot of DJ Sammy-type stuff as well :/
Midnight to 6am Saturdays is a different story though .. 6 hours of solid trance :D
They have international DJ sets (this is where the rip of Paul van Dyk @ Cream Amnesia Ibiza came from), a selection of new tracks (usually about a month or so old), a classic set, a listener mix and some chillout from 5-6 am :D
Pretty good listening, www.nova969.com.au if anyone can stand low quality streams :D |

Finnish channel YleX plays trance/house/techno/whatever for 3 hours every tuesday. Orkidea hosts the show once a month (I think).
Oh, and Darude is on powerplay on all hit stations.
Not that that makes me listen to the radio any more... |

Heh, that monthly Orkidea mix is about the only thing i listen on radio nowadays.. every third Tuesday of the month, actual length 90 mins, starting at 22:30 (10:30pm). |

| Echoing Blithe, not much in Chicago. In fact, I almost never listen to music on the local radio. American (dance) music stations blow. I like sports talk, and my livesets in the car. |
