Hey I'v been working wth bryce 5 for quite some time now and recently I'v been looking for some more detailed/powerfull program out there. I hear Lightwave 7.5 is good.
Do anny of you do anny 3d desighn work?? if ya what do you use?
just wondering.:)

In the professional 3d world you have Softimage|XSi and Alias|Wavefront's Maya, and a load of in-house engineered plugins/applications and renderers.
In the semi-professional 3d world you have Discreet 3dStudio Max, Newtek Lightwave and Cinema 4d (weapon of choice for mac boys).
Those are your main apps. You'll find that nowadays most peole use 3DSMax as it has been readily available to download for years and has caught a strong following. |

Grrrrr I finding Lightwave hard to use..... confuzing.
Well I'll get used to it I hope...
Back to the manuals and tutorials, I kind of miss the easy bryce 5 controls tho... |
