You mean like the tunes from Technotronic and Culture Beat? (stuff like Mr. Vain and Pump Up the Jam) Or Jean-Michel Jarre perhaps? :conf:

Anyway,

Back from the early 90's I want to know that housy tune with that girl singing:

Oh neh neh... oh neh neh, nedder oh neh neh... oh neh neh...

and some guy raping stupid stuff like "slave to the rave, what a sensation. Mental, what ???? this song, ???? goes on and on"

It's pretty stupid to post this kind of lyrics here but the tune was pretty much what I'm typing (apart from some happy synths and pianos), so I guess someone might remember that too :D

I think I know what you mean. try these:

Alex Gold - La Today (Original Minimalist Mix) <---has that 80's synth sound to it.

FGTH - Welcome To The Pleasuredome (Nalin & Kane Remix) <---6:15 part has a kickass synth.

KLF - 3am Eternal

Depeche Mode - The Things You Said

Gary Numan - Cars and/or Fear Factory - Cars

...oh and one of the most beautiful tunes composed on a synth is Steve Roach - Structures from Silence. So perty.

Are those the type of synth sounds you are lookin for? The 80's kicked ass with the synth pop stuff. ;)

If you wanna hear a newer track with that kind of sound, get Mirco de Govia - Things That Matter.
