Sorting mp3s

would anyone happen to have a good way (or program) for sorting mp3s? i need to sort my growing collection (3000+) but i have no idea what some of the genres are etc. If anyone has a site with a listing of different genres of trance and how to tell them appart that would great.

there are no strict rules for classifying the different genres of trance, it's just something that comes to you when you've listened to trance for a while :) If you give me a list of about 5 or 6 of your tunes that are completely different, I'll try and classify them for you, so you can get an idea of what each genre sounds like ;)

ehh...just sort them by genre & artist name or something
i just have folders eg. "trance Paul van Dyk" and if i have a whole album or something have a sub-folder with "2000 Out there and back" :)
dunno, but i have lots of mp3s too, and haven't found anything easier...plus i really don't want to reorganise the whole lot!! heheh :D:D:D |
