| - Right, William Orbit is a producer, not an electronic dance producer. He's also well into the Classical part of music. So why all the crap talking about him?!?! .. it's as If I was jumping over the Steffan's.. |

| i've never had any respect for pink. Her songs are unoriginal, and her lyrics are so lame. U think eminem fabricated his past? look at pink, bitching about "terrible times" when she was a happy fun teenager in a high income family with plenty of friends. She had a good life, so why does she make lyrics that lie about her own self? i hate people like that |

In my last sig there was:
"This week, i will mostly be listening to: William orbit - Barbers adagio for strings(DJ tiesto remix)"
I read this, and I changed the sig...
Damn, you're right. That's what es up the general idea ppl have about electronica and trance... It makes me sad :( |

That's quite possibly the stupidest thing I've heard. William Orbit has nothing to do with trance ffs. |

rite, with that kind of thinking, we should all stop listening and lose respect for Deep Dish, BT and Gabrielle/Dresden, correct? |

| Well what can I say.. I hate pink too, but then again I hate any kind of pop music. In my opinion why if you listen to electronic music and you are a real tranceaddict, why would you want to listen to some sell out like pop?? but then again it is my opinion and I dont mean to offend anyone. I do see were Tecknohead is coming from. |

Umm...... keep dreaming buddy he was practicaly the founder...... Ever hear of his record label Guerilla? Sasha/Digweed all the djs of the early 90s practicaly stocked their record crates with these records..... That label is what changed house for ever...... |

Orbit also produced Madonna's album Ray of light, I really don't see how that could give electronica a bad name. |
Did I mention Madonna or "Ray of Light" anywhere in my post? :conf: No, so please stay on topic.
Now, William Orbit was a respected producer of mine until I heard this garbage. Yes, Ray of Light was and still is a brilliant album I can't disagree with you on that. Orbit also has more connections to trance or electronica on whole than some of you may think, so you might want to go and do some research before you start bashing and flaming within my thread please...fr0st points out one good example. |
