Heys Guys, how are u? :D:D
Which drum machine do you use for Cubase?
Cos i liked the Reason drum machine it had so much quality drum sounds (with the right refillz anyway), but the lm-7 in Cubase it pisses me off! No nice drum sounds and when i change the map it still sounds like the standard one!
So which drum machine with nice sounds (like REason) do you use for Cubase? |

I use redrum. I either use rewire or export the drum loops as wav files and then import them into Cubase. I still use LM-7 for percussion. The snares and crashes aren't too bad. |

I use LM4 MkII, but always *always* load my own samples :) |

I use Native Instruments Battery, great tool in combination with Cubase. Most of the times I have 3 open at the same time, all routed to 7 stereo and 2 mono channels (times 3 that is then ;)).
Works great for me, I can effect all drum tracks differently and even create various delay effects using a sole sample in Battery and routing it to a particular channel.
I do use my own drum samples though, have a couple thousand on my harddrive and with the creative stuff you can come up with using Battery that makes nearly endless possibilites. |
