You've never heard of Oxia? You should give him a listen for sure man...

But sake, most of us (myself included) are st00pid-heads when it comes to European techno... you probably oughta recommend some mixes to us or something so we have a clue who they are... :p

..hehehehhe ok i give u credit for knowing something about derrick may..

..u have ur own opinions, and i respect that, but every one of these artists is special in their own way.. and btw. r u talking about tekkno generally, or detroit tekkno?!..

..but speaking of detroit tekkno, (those who know anything about tekkno and its roots add onto my reply) u've probably heard of juan atkins, so next time you see derrick may ask him who was carrying his (juan's) vinyls, turntables and who was spinning b4 him to warm up the crown for 15$.. "Derrick was wild.I had to step in.mixes were flying everywhere.but obviously,he turned out to be an all right DJ." - Juan Atkins.

..the magic trio of detroit tekkno was atkins/may/saunderson, and the 2nd era of detroit djs/producers came along - mills/hawtin.. and neither did juan nor derrick nor kevin ever split up to break up the trio - at least not in my head :D

.."Derrick alongside good friends and musical collaborators; Kevin Saunderson and Juan Atkins (a.k.a Model 500 and half of Cybotron) played early house records and early Detroit Records.
The aforementioned Detroit records were the avantgarde, soulful, raw, esoteric soundscapes that Derrick and his pioneering peers produced themselves.

This new innovative electronic music would soon be known to the rest of the world as Techno.

..but derrick did give it one definition and that was "it's like George Clinton and Kraftwerk are stuck in an elevator with only a sequencer to keep them company!"-what has become the most notorious definition of techno, know what i'm sayin'? ..

..tekkno partly from the belleville three, and cuz of that compilation the new sound of detroit, they didn't invent it, experiments came from the 60s when KRAFTWERK were studying it, bla bla bla..

..imo juan atkins can't even spin.. :D

..btw. i'm taking a break from partying 'till 27.06. - derrick may @ at OTV Zagreb..
