Nightclub swinger just hanging around

It took police, medics and firefighters about four hours to persuade a 25-year-old man to surrender early yesterday after he went berserk and took to the rafters of a downtown nightclub.
The man dangled about 10 metres above the floor of Kool Haus, a section of the Guvernment nightclub at Queen's Quay and Sherbourne St.
"He was leaping (between) the rafters, and I couldn't believe my eyes," Sgt. Norm Marshall said. "It was just like Spider-Man."
Marshall said the man "was acting in a disturbed manner and was being escorted out of the nightclub" around 3 a.m.
As they neared a side door, the man bolted free and ran up a flight of stairs leading to the club's offices.

"He broke through the ceiling tiles and got up into the rafters where he ran around like Spider-Man and it took us four hours to talk him down," he said.
"He was on the steel beams and we were on top of the ceiling of the office," Marshall said.
The man was eventually convinced to crawl back to the office area and climbed down a ladder to waiting authorities.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment of superficial cuts and psychological testing.
Police last night still hadn't determined if there would be charges.
"What he hadn't damaged, we had to in order to go and rescue him," Marshall said. "He was 30 feet in the air. He was right up in the rafters. It would have been an ugly fall."

maybe he went berzerk after realizing that he had paid over $30 to get in and wasn't feelin the party vibe..
too bad he doesn't hav a crew like TA .. :D |

| I'm willing to bet he was on some kind of hallucinogen (but not K - he wouldn't have made it that far) - acid, a huge amount of shrooms, or perhaps he had been on speed/crystal for four days and was having hallucinations due to sleep deprivation. |

Like when did this exactly happen when Mauro was suppose to play @ the KH??? I missed that party, and I'm kind of lost about what is going on... I get the whole idea what happened with the guy on top of the club but when did this happen??? |

hahahaha! i wasn't feelin' the vibe, but i didn't feel compelled to clinb into teh rafters (maybe if i had been wearing panst instead of a dress) |
