what do you some of you think of this article in the star ?
For many, moving to 905 is obvious
Cost of housing too good to ignore
Prices in GTA rose 9 per cent last year

i just had a similar experience with auto insurance.. apparently just because i live on the 416 side of Steeles Ave. i have to pay about 1.5x more than i would have had i lived on the 905 side .. which is think is really rediculous since they should base things like that on population density and not on a street line .. |

i dunno what my choice would be. however, all i know is that paying more in terms of taxes and insurance ain't no picnic! bullsnikeys i say!
btw...desidel, are you serious about the car insurance thing? i mean...car insurance should be related no so much on area or density of traffic flow, but travel distance. i mean...the more you drive the more influential pressures on you are (i.e. fatigue and road rage). |

| It's probably better to own a house in 416(for investment purposes), but it's definitely cheaper to live in 905.. On the other hand, it's more convenient to live in 416(my parents live at in yonge/steeles area, everything is within walking distance - subway, grocery store, highway is within 10 minute drive) |
