Puddlepuffer
pair of technics 1210 mk3d
pioneer djm600S mixer
sony mdr700 headphones
running thru a pair of 70W gale monitors

and apparently technics are best for mixing, vestax are light years ahead for scratching. as my turntabalist friend tells me.

How do you find the torque and pitch on mk3's?

and not being funny, but howcomes you got the silver djm with mk3's? That would look a little odd imo!

as far as holding the pitch is concerned IMO vestax = technics, but i like the feel of meat u get when u put ur hand on the record to stop it on the vestax, suits my style.. plus the ultrapitch is superb. dunno whether there is this feature on the techs, but on both vestax and numarks there is a thingy for altering start/stop speed, which is much to my liking :)

Get the Sennheiser HD25 they are the best ones i've used - don't get the Silver Sony jobbies, not only does the part that roatates snap, they aren't very tight on your head and slip down.

i prefer the silver on silver, but my comp is black which looks wikid with em too, colour is a byproduct, its the machine that counts. being a good dj helps too = george + me have no future :stongue:
