you did put it in the AGP slot in your motherboard right???
Try installing the latest drivers which can be found here: Click Me for Drivers |

BTG, that is normal. They are always reported as being on PCI as far as I know. That exact same window on my various Raddies...
What problems are you encountering? |

Well ATI does give you 30 days of free phone troubleshooting, perhaps you could call them?
The number for US customers is: 900-733-2841
Canada: 905-882-2626
*edit* its only 30 days after purchase though. =\ |

Well, in the matrix game: Random objects turn invisable (i.e. guns, random places on peoples faces, blocks, walls)
Counter-strike doesn't run any faster than it did when i had a first generation radeon card (pre 7500), and now it has little black lines here and there...going horizontal accross the screen.
Why. i dunno. |

Counterstrike will never look any better. Don't matter if you put in the sweetest card available... as for that game there is not much difference, because the game engine that utilizes your graphics card is so old that it can't make the game look any better no matter how many times they update it. They have pretty much hit the graphic cieling of sorts for CS.
As for the rest.. that is quite bizarre.. it might be defective? |

I said it didn't run any faster: i'm still only getting 50fps, which i could be getting 99.. |

It allways says PCI Bus. I could expalain why but it would require a large discussion on computer arictecture which is not really nessicary. Trust me the card is fine It should look like that.
For a Little evidence I have this to show you.

on the left is a Pci card see the bus number, on the right an agp card. |

Ok, I can think of two other things.
What are your current system specs? Simply upgrading the GFX card may not improve much, as RAM and processor speed may in fact act as limiting factors to overall performance.
Secondly, power usage. Now that you have a more powerful card you may have pushed your required power levels past the maximum. Do you know what wattage your PSU is? If you have alot of components and a decent processor, 350W is the minimum you should be looking that.
Other than that, a defect card? |

I have:
P4 1.5 GHz,
380MB Ram (SD :()
don't know my wattage..but i coudln't imagin it makes THAT much of a difference. |
