Deep Dish Spin
To help launch Virgin and Pioneer's “Spinlounge,” the Union Square Megastore's new dance music dedicated area, Deep Dish will throw down one of their dark, cool DJ sets. Pioneer will also be giving away a DMP-555 Digital Media Player at the event. Later that week on Fri, Jun 13, Ali ‘Dubfire' Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi will take to the decks again for the official New York City record release party of their latest (and best!) mix CD, Global Underground - Toronto at Roxy (515 W. 18th Street).

Doesn't seem like they'll be signin anything "officially", but I will defintely drop by and see them.

Btw....to those that have seen Deep Dish live, how are they?

Hint: tickets to see them @ Space @ WMC 2003 were $100 each...

they in rocked Toronto for the release party :) It started off a little slow; Ali was playin some chilled house, good to just lounge and chit chat to; once Sharam took over it was a lot more bangin. Only song I remember is MAS Collective - In My Mind. THey finished with Let's Get Ill and my friend managed to request Nobody Listen To Techno.

da hell is up with all these virgin megastore signings? damn, virgin really came up with a good marketing/sales concept..!

not that i have anything against it.. but in the end, it's all just a scheme to get people to support the dance scene.. which is good, cuz it really needs help right about now.

I've seen them more than a dozen times (once or twice with just Sharam) and can only say that I've ALWAYS left wanting more. The week that Twilo closed they ROCKED Buzz until 8:00 am!!!! There were Twilo shirts everywhere that night, and Nation was packed so I guess that many made road trips to get there.
