how to record live set on a mac

I just ordered g4 powermac and I was just wondering how do I record a live set into it? Does the mac come with what I need or do I need more software? or a soundcard or both?
I am aslo getting logic 6 platinum soon and what plug ins should I get for drums and percussion?

| I use Bias Deck 3.5 LE.... I use a M-Audio Quattro Audio Interface for recording.. I just used to use an iMic, through a USB port.. the set up i am using it sweet |
