god tried to kill me yesterday...i'm still here though!

Since we all know that the source of lightning is an old bearded man who lives in outer space, it's rational to assume that "he" has a bone to pick with me.
What a chump.
I was on my computer yesterday listening with headphones to yahel- going up (magikal remake), when my right ear recieved a painfull shock. 5 milliseconds later this was followed by a loud thunder clap that shook my whole house more than my 10 inch subwoofer could ever dream of doing. I realized instantly what had happened. The lightning struck a source of electricity, travelled through the electrical wiring, and through my headphones. I was freaked out to say the least. I suppose I was lucky. My computer still works, and I'm not dead or in a coma. Many people die every year from talking on the phone, or taking a shower in a rainstorm. I didn't even know it was raining to be honest until I was zapped.
ON another note: Does anyone have the vinyl with yahel open your mind/going up (magikal remake) on it? That's worth more than money to me. :) :)

I know it was a random natural event in case you have trouble analyzing sarcsm. :D :D :D :p :p :p :p If I were mentally deranged with grandiose auditory/visual hallucinations (i.e. a "gifted prophet" as they might say in ancient times), I'd probably have written some commandments or something by now...:toothless :toothless

Anyways, I'm not so lucky. My speakers are blown...damn. Now I have to gheto style it with my headphones plugged into the back of ol' Dell.
The speakers had two surge protectors on them. The main one that connects to the wall, and a secondary one that steps down the voltage.
I guess two wasn't enough. :whip: :whip: :whip:

If God exists there is no way he could have attempted to kill you and failed. There is no such thing as a God without omnipotent powers. God either exists or doesn't.
If God doesn't exist then it was just some sort of fluke occurence and you were lucky to be alive.
