i can't remember but i don't think zion is dead
i think the counterstrike ships were sabotaged by the infected dude (EMP premature activation) so the sentinels detected them and killed everyone on the counterstrike force.
i don't think zion is dead so there would be no point stopping the machines from digging..especially within a 15 hours timeline..
i must go watch it again to solidify my thoughts cause i got so hypnotized by the FX.. |

zion is a controlled simulation for those who cannot accept the matrix. they think they are rebelling, fighting against the machines, while in reality they are allowed a certain level of rebellion/freedom which is only an illusion. a matrix inside a matrix is where the plot seems to be going, but at the same time it's one of the most obvious and most expected ideas.
i would very much like to see neo discover something else about himself (partly because there was practically no character development in Reloaded). and by something i mean that he could be some weird piece of code or a machine that evolved on the machine side and rebelled against the other machines because it suddenly discovered that it could make a choice.
but of course that's a stretch. |

I think neo may be a program. BECAUSE, they said he was an "anomoly", a left over bit from the programing of the matrix. How can a person be a left over part of the matrix code? he cant be. Remember how agent smith was going on about purpose? Smith said that neo took it away from him, so he was going to take away purpose from neo. Neo;s purpose was to be controled by the machines, so that it was a sort of control, a false reality of a fight. Neo was a program that was designed, or rather evolved into one that was used for control. The oracle said everything in the matrix is controled with programs, and that the ones that work properly, you dont even notice. But the ones that dont, you can notice. I think somebody would notice a dude flying around and stopping bullets just by looking at them.
Conclusion: Neo is a computer program, and everybody around him was assigned to this fight. As were others from the last 5 battles. im not sure how everybody around him...like Morpheus, or trinity fits in, i think they are people in the sub matrix. That have been led to believe that they have been "freed" and the "real" world is just another matrix that they are living in. It makes so much sense cause, in the first matrix when morpheus was giving neo a speach about "what is real" he even said that you wouldnt be able to tell the real world from the matrix if they just simulated all the senses.
that is my theory on the plot, but i dont know where they will take it. |

| If you guys remembered, In the teaser trailer for Revolution, Morpheous says, Hes fighting for us?, Its possible, Maybe, That Smith suddenly changes sides after he realizes after fighting Neo and then he and Neo take on the Architech to put an end to the Matrix and break the cycle once and for all since Neo is actually the 6th One. |

Umm no... that guy was on a ship that was attacked by stray squidies and was the only survivor from that ship. Remember that the emp went off too early (he probably was the one who set it off early) |

| you have to remember that the Smith Dude has powers in the Matrix and Not actually In Zion, I dont even think he exist in Zion, and the archichet must of created Agent Smith aswell, this is all getting confusing. |

Still haven't seen the second one, but I made the prediction after the first one that it would turn out that the Matrix is the "real world" and the real world is just a fantasy created by a schitzophrenic Neo to escape the boredom of his job and his every day life.
It could happen. :D |

agreed, it looks like thats where the plot is going, but i wish it turns out to be something else...

are you sure? i remember he said the emp went too early and 5 ships were down right then, but i think he went on to say that the machines had overrun zion too... |
