i thought everyone knew that Geert Huinink was the main man behind Magik Journey. As Sand Leaper stated, just listen to his stuff under Dawnseekers, Twenty Something and Photon Project. The same kind of wonderful classic pieces are found there.
Tiesto would be nothing without his strong friends Geert Huinink, Alco Lammers and Ronald Van Gelderen. |

| I think Tiesto wrote the melodies that play during the beat in both Magik Journey and Forever Today, whereas Geert Huinink wrote and arranged the classical parts. I'm not taking away from Tiesto's musical talent, its just that you need classical music training to write these kinds of things. Then, with a solid classical backbone like in these tracks, Tiesto made his trance-synth riffs, which seems quite reasonable. |

| I love Tiesto's Old Skool Remix of this song! Sounds great during his Dutch Dimension set :D |

| I would say although the track was done by both Geert & Tiesto, the string part would have largely been done by Geert. Some of his (Geert's) other productions have fantastic sounding sting parts in them as well. |

ive never heard anyone mention this.. but as much as i love this track, i was always let down by the fact the main riff go's really quiet when it "kicks in", find that very disapointing :(
don't get me wrong - its a great tune.. just a little niggle ;) |

He probably thinks Tiesto writes & produces all his tracks all by himself :p I pity the fact that there's still people who believe he does :nervous: |
