Just picked them up two days ago - pretty happy with them at the moment. I haven't listened to them too much, but they're clear, drivable (and listenable) at low volumes out of my mixer - also good isolation.
I'm not having to blast the volume in order to hear the music in the headphones and ignore everything else outside.
Guess Gluegun has another convert? |

sigh... you're both pretty new to the forums, so you'll have missed many of the heated headphone debates that took place last year.
7506 = Sony MDR7506 Headphones. They're studio headphones that have excellent sound reproduction. Many people have said that they're leagues above the MDR700DJ (the big silver ones).
from htfr: "Quoted as the best 'trance' dj headphones available on the market."
Does that make more sense to the two of you?
and Tranz, just for you a link at djmart: http://store.yahoo.com/djgear/sony7506.html |

| I've had the same for 6 months. I love them! I had a pair of 700s that broke in 4 months. :( |

You spent $30 extra dollars. The Sony MDR 7506 are the exact copy of the Sony MDR-v6,except for a gold connector. The cost of the V6? $69.95

7506 or V6, I have the V6 and I think it's extremely nice for the price I pay, the sound is clear and the things are built like tanks. |

| i considered these, but got sennheisser HD280s instead. I think i might pick up a pair of V6 just for the heck of it to compare. |

| ive had my 7506's for 2 1/2 years now. I think i paid about ~$160 back then. No problems. Before that, i went through 2 stanton headphones in 8 months. Damn cheap stanton headphones broke. |

Hehehe,
Actually I AM NOT new, especially to this forum, not sure about the other person, but I think both of us said Huh? to Gluegun and convert, at least I was puzzled. I perfectly know those headphones and no need to be ignorant and post a link "just for me" after all Duh, I work there!!!.
And correct IMO they are better made than MDR V700DJ... but it is Pioneer HDJ1000 all the way... Cheers... |
