whatever you wanna call them, how do you make a nsingle note bend up to another pitch? i tried futzing with the portamento knob, but that makes all the notes bend up and down, not good. also i know the pitch bend wheel willl do it, but i dont want to have to program a controller track just to do bends, so how do you do it in the sequencer? as an example, the main melody in Benny Benassi's "satisfaction" -which, by the way, is a killer track.
please help, im pulling all my hair out on this one. |

k, I'm kinda goin out on a limb...but...
go to your controller lane for the synth you are using. find "pornamento." Turn it up on the note that you want to bend, and put it back at zero once the note finishes (or just before it finishes). voila! |

Or, you could use automation. For ex. right click on the pitch bend wheel, and choose edit automation. Then in edit mode, use the line-draw tool, and draw in the pitch bend...where you don't draw, by default, will remain 'unbent'.
Hope that helps. |

What you do is assign the cutoff to an envelope. So your source would be, say the filter or amp envelope, and your destination would be the cutoff. If you want the single note to bend down, make it a negative modulation. You'll have to tweak the envelope to suit the context of the rhythm.
Is this what you mean?:conf: :toocool: |
