i've been listening to this today...just jumping around between tracks, and it sounds good. i dont know what the criticism is about...there are some amazing tracks on this comp.

valentino 'flying'
sanders 'work to do'
accorsi and basetti 'until the end'

just to name a few.

Well Mecha,

I thought our taste in music was pretty much the same. I too have the Promo and I thought it was pretty decent and sure kicked the hell out Nick Warrens - Ambient GU 24! This is Deep Dish Progressive House music(Take a listen to their Moscow GU) and you find a lot of simularities in the direction of the two albums. Give it another try;)
I will be waiting to get my hands on the orignal copy!

Hmmm... Looks pretty good to me. Or rather, at least disc one does. Not so sure about the validity of the presence of "Nothing" and "Breezer" and a few others older tracks that weren't played that night.

I really don't like that Lowriders tune myself. Different strokes I guess. Bought it, brought it home, played it once in my basement, and never played it again. Oh well.

I think Disc one will be a stunner. And the Afterhours discs look sweet too. If you're a fan of DeepDish to begin with, that is.

Again though, different strokes for different folks. No matter how you look at it, DeepDish will never sound like NickWarren, and vice versa. I hate the Lavelle offering. Doesn't mean it's though.
