also note that this Friday and every friday after, our guests will be playing on the newly renovated 3rd floor.
Several smaller rooms have been eliminated to open most of the floor up into one larger room with a large dance floor. This will eleviate problems that were had regarding the flow of traffic on the first floor and quite frankly the room just kicks ass. The sound system has also just been upgraded.

seaman wasnt here for ultra spin...he was last here during WMC (mid march) and played at lotus. the last time he played kool haus was fall of last year, and he totally destroyed it!
i wouldnt mind seeing him again, but i think i'd rather be at nick warren's return in july i believe.

And I know that most people from both, wouldn't be caught dead in the other, lol. with all due respect, you probably haven't spent that much time at Lotus to really know what the crowd is like. The majority of the people there on Fridays are really ing cool, and this is coming from someone that can usually be found wearing jeans and a t-shirt.
as for progressive on fridays.... lets just say that over the summer there will be a headliner pretty much every week. The next 2 months are already booked... top talent from all over the world EVERY friday.
and this is just the start... the music is going to get better every week!
keep your ears peeled... BIG things happening at Lotus!!!
ahhhh I want to say exactly what so bad, but I can't... soon though ;)
and in regards to the third floor, I belive the plan is to switch it up to house and techno and get some out of towners up there to. They also did some renovations in that rooom last week. took out some walls and the little rooms on the end to make it one big room. There's still a fourth floor being added as well which will be one huge room... it's goign to take some time to complete though. |
