ok, so first, the other day the new metallica single came out. i thought it sucked. they've been one of my favorite bands for a while, but they've seriously taken a dive in the past few years. any comments?
second, and of course most important, is rave on the rocks this year. this is a concert put on by a denver radio station at the famous red rocks amplitheater. they've had people like bad boy bill, oakenfold, rabbit in the moon, and keoki(and many countless others) play at this concert. so, today, i go to PvD's website and his gig that is scheduled for denver is in late july and at the red rocks amplitheater. this is around the time rave on the rocks usually takes place, so i'm hoping he's gonna play at the rave on the rocks. anyone from denver have any info? i tried the KTCL website, but there is no info on this years rave on the rocks (actually its now called "KTCL's Night of E"....kind of ironic actually since they changed the name to get away from the word "rave" which implied the use of ecstasy at the concert and made all the politicians and parents their pants because they don't want their son/daughter taking this new horrible drug that makes them feel warm and fuzy inside. god forbide they smoke up some marijuana and get pregnant and kill a small child on their way home. man, i'm rambling again....)
, either way, seeing PvD at red rocks is going to be ing awesome. anyone else wanna come? |
