Tom Holkenborg will release his new album 'Radio JXL, a Broadcast from the Computerhell Cabin' on Monday June 2nd next. Artists to appear on the album are Robert Smith from The Cure, Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode, DJ Sasha, Peter Tosh, Public Enemy's Chuck D amongst others. To thank the city of Amsterdam for all the inspiration, Tom is going to give an illegal surprise performance at a secret location in the centre of Amsterdam.
Tomorrow, on Saturday 31st of May, JXL is going to perform from an open window somewhere at the Noordermarkt on 10:30 pm sharp. He will use a PA that is comparable to the one that’s installed at a venue such as the Melkweg. Junkie will plug in his gear, will open the windows, and will play a massive 30 min. set until the police arrives to stop him!
