Some advice,melody,harmonies...

| Ya i donīt have any experience doing melodys etc...but i did one that i find good here (save target as...) and i made a short melody to enter before the main melody...but i think it could be good together with the main melody...but itīs not sound very very good i think because of synth...well listen and say if it is good or not... here (save target as...) |

It's not a bad melody at all, and of course it's down to personal preferance. But for me the pauses seem out of place. I personally would loose them altogether or extend them ALOT. It's about flow i think.
For the main melody i think the pauses sound out of place. But if you use it for the build up the pauses need to be alot longer with some nice spacial effects building up the atmosphere.
I have been playing about with producing for about 6 months and i cant give any advice in this aspect really, but i know what i like and i hope i havent come across too critical. Just trying to give constructive criticism.

i agree totally. those pauses kinda lose the flow of the lead. I kinda like the stuff goin on in the background of the synth, it grows on me ;) Keep it up man, this stuff takes time. This sure beats the out of my first melodies, so dont get discouraged. |

Yeah, theres nothing wrong with the notes progression, u did an original sounding melody, but the arrangement and times od each note is what could be better, not the melody itself.
Its not following an pattern, the flow of the notes is diferent in every part. Trance tends to need a systematic pattern of notes, so that it becomes easier to assimilate. The more complex u make the arrangement (like your melody), harder it gets to people assimilate it and get taken by it.
The more catchy melodies are usualy made with very simple patterns with very few, but noticable, variations on some points so it dont sounds mechanic. |

| Ya i am spend too much time in he melody...i still didnīt do the a good bassline,strings etc...ya here is the sound in the background of the melody with another synth,this melody has a diferent feeling...melody in background here (save target as...) |
