GOOD party, nice seeing all the TA's gathering together again.
I had to leave earlier due to some afterhours plans.
From what I heard the first couple of djs played progressive trance and nu school breaks, mute played progressive trance with some elements of house as well. I can only heard 30 minutes of Mobius set and it was typical uplifting trance set.
btw. It was nice to see Shawzy with his gf, emaser, trancekitten, hordash, armada, eso and rest of crew.
Mark Scaife was killing in the main room as well playing some sick teck/progressive/tribal house. Basically the night was a pleasure from a both rooms.

Well finally time for the my reply as I was busy all weekend and didn't have access to a computer. This night was unbelievable. Being a relatively new TA, I met so many people that I can't remember all the names. I was feeling a little under myself that night as I was feeling sick, aching muscles, sore throat (don't worry it's not SARS) and my energy level was depleted from work all day. But I knew everyone was going to be there and I wanted a chance to meet a bunch of new people.....finally, and to support our DJ's. You guys rocked. The sets you dropped kept the VIP room jammed all night and made the main room seem empty. Congrats on such a great night. Thanks to Deepgroove and E2EK1EL_D3 for putting on this night. It was a great sucess, something that I expected from such a positive and supportive community.
Now to all the TOTA's, you guys sure know how to make someone feel welcomed. I joined this community just under 2 months ago and I already feel like I belong. You guys are awesome. If you see me and we haven't been introduced just say hi!!!
Nat-aka TA Mum - once again always a pleasure (although I'm a bit disappointed that you don't want me in your calender ;)

Ok, finally my review...
This night was awesome... All of the DJs were great, and the party almost had a house-party feel: great music, great friends and a very intimate atmosphere.
I think this was one of the best TOTA nights we've had in a long time. Everybody was out in a great mood and dancing their butt's off!
Good job everybody! I hope these become semi-regular events.
My only negative comment is: where did everybody go after 2am? The place cleared out pretty quickly then. Next time stay and support your fellow TA DJs!!!
Good to see all the TAs there, good to chat with many of you, and just all round have a good time. I was glad to see each and every one of you - I love it when we all get together to have fun.
Nat - thanks for chillin' afterwords - that was awesome!
Anyways, I hope to see you all again soon - as it is always a pleasure. :) |
