| Go see the Italian Job. I've seen both and if you want a joyride type of movie, Italian Job is bestr. Bruce Almighty is funny but turns into a cheesy love story. Plus Charlize Theron is hotter than Jennifer Aniston. |

Hell yeah she's hotter! I'd probably go see Italian Job too. You could always rent Bruce Almighty later as I'm sure seeing it on the big screen doesn't make a big difference. |

| ^ that's EXACTLY what I thought! It was so similar to Ocean's Eleven, but different scenario. |

Italian Job hands down.
More of a movie I'd see.
Bruce Almighty is a little to into the "happy go lucky" humor....me, I need a dark comedy like 'Death to Smoochy' , GREAT jokes. You have to appreciate sarcasm and actual WIT, not just some dumbass pranks.

Do not go to 'Bruce Almighty' cause almost all the funniest takes were shown in the commercial, and it gets real bad in the second half.
The Italian Job is good, entertaining.. |

Death to Smoochy was hilarious! For a straight up comedy I like to throw in Super Troopers. |

i haven't seen either, but the italian job seems like a pop-movie to me. you know, with the cliched car chases, bank robberies, traitors within your team, etc... and they gave ed norton a role, which was to attract audiences (and it's a villain role). i'd much rather see a movie with stupid jokes than with car chases.
but oh well, what do i know |

Give it a rest Whiskers! It's not just crashing cars, its a decent movie with *GASP* A PLOT! And Edward Norton does NOT attract major crowds....so he;s in there jsut to play his role...so get off it.
And get off your tangent about "pop-movie" and "cliched". HOW else is it supposed to get some attention if it is not advertised? Anyway- You ever think that since YOU havent seen it, you are in no position to judge it?
Leave the commentary for the informed.
