Dual monitors: game help.

| Ok, well i set up 2 monitors just for fun, but i wana be able to ALT Tab, without the game minimizing. anyone? |

| tell us more ab out your problem. when you run a game its the best to put of your second screen and run the game on the primary screen |

useally you cant run a game while your in dual monitiors mode, You will have to go into the monitors control panel and turn off the secondary monitor while you are playing. Any opengl game will not work with dual monitors, only sofware aceleration will let you play with two monitors. But you shgouldnt play in software mode since it looks like crap.
The answer to your question is you cant alt tab causes any full screen program to minimize. If the game will let you choose windowed mode in the graphics setup then you should be able to alt tab without minimizing the game. |

ah....do it all the time. but if you try and do something in the secondary monitor, like open winamp....it minimizes the game.
just my experience. i play games on my tv and have other stuff going on my computer monitor all the time. very fun. |

| why would you want two monitors ? cause in some rpg games it would look crap and would be hard to aim, i understand having 2 Screens for OS , but for gaming ???? i think it depends on your graphics card |

No, you miss understand..
i want one monitor for gaming (19")
and the other for MSN
My ideal situation is if somone msgs me, i can alt tab, and talk to them, but the game on the 19 wont minimize..so i can see if i need to get back in the game *ie, getting attacked*
but i cannot figure it out.
maybe its impossible,
or mabye one day, ATI will make a good driver for it. |
