| i just recently sold my mrz-70 blah blah wihtout the pc link cause it didnt come with one. i got found a good buyer i guess. anways i was thinking off the mrz500 or wahever but then how is the extended play mode.. is it good? |

yeah sony md-players are awesome...all of my friends have sony's...my bro has a sony mzr-70..had it for almost a yr, no problems....he also has two models of sharp md-players, they r also very good but i dont think u can get trax off the computer with them like u can with the sony...they do have better sound quality tho...i mean the base is better....
and i believe that overall when it comes to electronics, sony is among the best except when it comes to walkmans...especially the radio receivers in their walkmans..they suck...they r extremely weak...

| WOW.. damm, Im planning to get myself a MD also, and for what I know, sony are the best ones, besides, SONY invented the MD, and for that same reason they should be good, but I may be wrong, If is not a sony, I'll look towars a Panasonic |

| i personally love panasonic ones. :) i've had mine for 5 years now and it's still going strong! not once did it need repair and i've dropped this baby plenty of times. |

| I have a kenwood DMC-G7R that's about 2 years old. It's a sweet little machine but I never use it. I have only bought 4 disks due to the fact that I have a burner and it's like .75 cents a cd compared to 7-8 bucks for a md. This one has the name tracks function, name disc function, move tracks, bass levels, on screen level meter, sound sync recording, and a bunch of other features. Willing to sell it if anyone is interested. :cool: |

but sonys are still drastically overrated and overpriced..
the only things sony are good at are headphones..
and thats it..
MDs.. no way..
u break down technically specification relation to price..
sony comes nowhere..

these are the same arguments that i've been thinking the past couple of months...
Don't know which md to get...
I like the Sony Mz-r900 because it has pitch control and mdlp...but the price is the only thing that's stoping me...
The sony mz-r500 is alright too, and a lot cheaper, but I think its ugly...the same goes for the 700, and 750
I probably mostly leaning towards a Mzr91 rather than the 90 because of appearance and price....
The only problem is that i believe there is only one line out port and i heard that the recording mechanism is extremely fragile and that you cannot move/shake the unit while recording |

it's awesome :)...it' my first md & i've had it about a week, but i've listened to it almost non-stop for the whole time!!!! ahahhahahaahah
pity i only have one disc atm LOL!!! but luckily i used lp2 for 2 1/2 hours of trance bliss!! :D:D:D
definitely a very good portable...i did a bit of research before splurging, but depending where u get it from...u can save a lot of money!!
here in australia they're just released at $799!! but my cousin has had one from hong kong for about 6 months & he paid $560...but my dad went to singapore two weeks ago and got me one for $470!!!

i love the back-lit display :D:D:D...and it scrolls the song name too, it looks SOOOOO trick!! :)
ahh, i can't begin to say how impressed i am, it's so small & light and the batteries go *FOREVER*, i've only recharged it once...i got about 6 hours from it before i even charged the thing and that was recording for 2 1/2 hours too...then after one charge i got about 20 hours, now i'm on the second charge & it's been about 10 hours with the lights at 3/4!!!
damn, this thing is GOOD
hahahaha, sorry for ranting so much, but really get ur hands on one & u won't be dissappionted!!!!!!!!

oh yeah...only complaint: the earphones that come with it are *****suck!! chuck 'em in the bin...don't even bother trying to fit them in ur ears hahaah!!! |
