So How did we all come to be TAs? What I mean, was there one moment that turned you from a person who liked Trance into a TA? If ya want, share the story.

Heres mine

Big 4 day straight keg basement party with a DJ system set up(its a commercial system that got brought to a house) Until this day, I was a so so fan...then I heard Paul Van Dyk 'Live from the Gallery Turnmills' When he dropped For an Angel, BAM I was converted. I stole that CD from my friend that night, and now have my own copy, but yeah..PvD did it to me. And now Im in addicted...but you wont hear me complaining

Well for me it was, listening to a local student radio station, RDU, have a trance set every thursday night 7-9pm, man it used to goo off, i recorded the sets on audio tape and VCR, and thrashed them, at the time i was working long hrs (13-15hrs a day) and trance was the only thing that kept me going, and ive been an addict ever since.

isnt it great that you can feel like absolute , drop some trance on and then youre away again.:D :D

that is an amazing feeling. You hit rock bottom after being awake for so long, put on something old that you know and love, (funnily, they all have angel in them...)

Fridge-send me an angel
PvD-For an Angel
Angel of Death-Hennes and Cold mix

among others these songs can wake me like theres no tomorow...

I became a Trance Addict all the way back in '92, when I fell in love with Age Of Love - Age Of Love [Watch Out For Stella Club Mix], then started listening to the early Trancemaster series, then in '99, Ferry Corsten treats all of us to his awesome sounds and that's pretty much my history with it. :)

the dark raver? looooool you mean steve???? he's kewl!

For me...it's hard to rememeber when I came in touch with trance....I do remember that I was on holiday to Dwingeloo in the summer of '69...nooo j/k.....summer of '94 and that my friends there all listened to hardcore (it was still the happy sound back then)..and I got so impressed by those "gabber"-guys that I thought: woooo! I'm going to be gaber too! and so it started...but the ball really started rolling when I went to my first rave in '96..and met all the really kewl people from the city where I live....

..and then in....'97 I started working in a restaurant and fell in love with my (current) b/f and he was a dj...he spinned club and speedgarage (started his dj-career with hardcore) back then...because I liked him..I started to like his music...and when he move on to trance before the beginning of '98...I evolved with him! I swithced from hardcore to trance and left the hardcore-raves for what they were and started going to tranceparties! And here I am today!!!!

conclusion....it were always guys that introduced me into a style of music..loooool haha :D

Question?

Some people had a ID&T tatoe. If you had a ID&T tatoe somewhere you got free entrance to party's for the rest of your life...mmmmm, do you think you still get free entrance

I downloaded PvD's "For An Angel" - it's really hard to express my feelings now... but it was awesome... I felt that there is someone in the world who is very similar to me... I catched the idea of this music. In the id3 tag was a link to TA. And now I am here...;)

Greetings, :) :D :)

It was the Raves that got me hooked into the different styles of music it offered. I liked all the forms; house; trance; and hardcore.

It wasn't until I listen to Jive Trance CDs, Trancemasters <10, and Trancelvania CD that I was hooked for good. :)
