i used to be just snoman, but then when i started djing, i thought, "well, i need a cool sounding name..."
one day i was watching this show about the world's fastest truck, it was called the shockwave... and i thought that it sounded cool, so i dropped the "e" (hehehe... i dropped "e") to make it shockwav...
it sorta suits my spinning style, i like to bombard you with a lot of different styles and speeds... just ask j-spot about my spinning, especially my set at new years when i was on 2 hits of crystal meth...
now that's a whole different story

Hey, nice thread.
My real name is Julian Kaesler.
THe name Mr Stamper is a long story. When i first got the net (4 years ago) me and my friends played a game caled Team Fortress on the net. We were in a 'clan' (a team of players) called mi6 which was all Bond movie characters. I was one of the last to join, and the only name of a Bond character that i liked for my name was Mr Stamper, outof Tomorrow Never Dies. So I have stuck with that name ever since. Sometimes i think to myself it sounds pretty gay, but it is the name that everyone knows me by on the net and i dont know anyone else who has it so ill stick with it. :cool:

Well here goes...my real name is Andrew Paciga.
My nickname has evolved from several different ones...Im a big Star Wars fan so Ive had the nick name "Darkside" for a while. As soon as Star Wars began to get more popular I saw than name all over and wanted something more original so I began with "DarkSyde". Still wanting something more original and a little less obvious, I took
"D-Syde"....its partly cause I couldnt "Decide" and a mix of my previous nicknames. |

ahh...new years...yes the set that shockwav had was very diverse..wait...new years. Hmm...somehow I cant remember it quite so well. That was when the system was downstairs right? yes...cuz drunk ass puked upstairs and yes..your set was good. We went from HHC to hard trance and back and all over the map. me was very ed on endo(first time) and liquor.
The system we use is nothin compared to @ the club, but still. Its 2 18' Bass bins, 2 4 cabinet mid high both powered of off of 500 watt amps. When this is in a basement..yeah its LOUD as a Mo'Fo. We is doin it again this sumemer. So any Calgary peeps that wanna come to a rockin house party PM me and Ill tell ya when and where. =) |

| ahh yes...and shockwav didnt know its was meth until like 2 months ago. The guy he bought from found out that it wasnt e...but meth. And they wondered why they were soooo incredibly ed!!! I did too..cuz Ive seen him drop..and this was very different |
