| I have a song named AvB - Blue Fear 2003 that sounds exactly the same as the original one. Does a 2003 version really exists or is it a joke?. Thanks. |

someone thought it would be clever to release the mp3 labelled 2003 when in actual fact it was the original. But yes it does exist. Once uve found the rite one, u'll listen and realise what a pathetic rework it is. Original all the way |

how is it pathetic?
all armin intended to do was polish it up slightly to his modern sound and that is exactly how it is, and it's good. |

| Original > 2003. 2003 has that god awful clicky sample all throughout the song, other than that it's an alright rework but the original is still much better. |

I haven't heard the new mix but I think Blue Fear was a perfect candidate for a rework -- the melody is superb but is let down by average production quality including a dire squeaky synth. I await his rework and hope it sounds a little more modern.
For the record, the original has that clicky sample throughout the whole song excluding the breakdown... |

| The clicky sample in 2003 sounds very obnoxious and takes away from the song imo, you can really hear it every time, not so with original. And I loved the squeaky sounding synth in the original. The way Armin uses it is great. :) I think this is just one of those songs that should be left alone |
