Well, there's no need to put down the Talla party as it was quite the night!

I have yet to see Digweed or Sasha for that matter and have little incentive to do so.

But it should be a good show for all the progies out there!

MOSAIC: No need for the Digweed put downs either!

then again, digweed rarely cancels gigs

@ Sasha's b-day party @ Home in SPACE, in IBIZA, digweed didn't show up, he was suppose to spin after Sasha. THough word got around that he was sick I think.

Not too hyped for this...

Digweed rocked Guv in July 99 and Meow in March 2000... However, everything I've seen since then has been nothing special in comparison

I'm not the only one who thinks this way either.

I'd have to agree. I did see him last November at the KH and frankly he bored me. It started decently enough with some complex sounds (though soft) but never really picked it up till the last half hour and that was too little too late. Very disappointed. Though not as disappointing as Sasha's set was at the Big DJ small Club event.

FYI: There is going to be a big difference when seeing someone like digweed play in The Kool Haus and compared to a smaller intimate club like Lotus.
He is going to lay it right the down and put all the naysayers to rest.
As well the party should be moved to the 3rd floor which has a darker more intimate feel to it. better layout as well. soem renovations have just been done in which some walls were removed to open up even more of the floor.

thats so true... almost all progressive djs prefer smaller venues which tend to have that intimate party feel...

anyways, i should be back in TO by then so i'm pretty sure i'll be going to this...

it was all about the hour or so of fookin' wikked breaks in teh middle of teh set. if breaks aren't yer thing, then i can understand this, but nearly everyone was losing their marbles. one of, if not THE the most energetic and enthusiastic crowd @ koolhaus last year too. diggers played well, and werked the crowd very well. especially considering previous failures of sasha and deepdish and others... it really was one of the best sets of last year in toronto IMO. second only to anthony pappa's now-legendary set @ red square.
