........have banned swearing in their pubs. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I go in there to slag of twats! its a pub!!!
Anyway i had to vent.

| well at the end of the day its their pubs and they are allowed to make the rules and enforce them with their doormen, although from watchin the news this morning its a request to keep the bad language down around the bar, or directed to bar staff, a bit like they dont allow smoking at the bar |

i dont like weatherspoons,
a) full of wankers (usually)
b) they dont play music (even if they did it wuld b wank)
c) the carpets r gross n dirty
d) they take nice buildings n turn em into crap (like mcdonalds)
and e) the swearing another reason not to go there (i know its their choice but wtf!!) |

its not rule or anything yet, its not 100% confirmed, there has just been talk about it in the papers.
wont make much of a difference to me anyway
yea ill still swear, but i dont swear loud enough for everyone to hear me anyway, plus with the noise everyone else is making it wont make much difference.
and yea having no music sucks, but when im out clubbing, i usually always go into wetherspoons before hand, why? bcause its dirt cheap. |

Get a load of mates together, and play a simple game that works rather affectively in any public place, especially libraries.
Basically suggest a word say in this case , and the first person to say it says it fairly quietly, and then the next person says it a tad louder, and then the next says it louder and so on until you either get chucked out, or someone bottles it, they ofcoarse are the loser and get heavily mocked by fellow competitors.
Just a little game for ya to try out, should work well in weatherspoons.
or alternatively go in with a group of 5 mates and use the work after every word in a sentence and see how long it takes to get chucked out.
Yes im sad and bored :D But its amusing :p |

:o thats my game u stole it!!!its actually in its original form known as brown..cos thats wot ur meant to say!!! i made alan play it wiv me one time at derby station wen we were goin to progress and where quite drunk/stoned at the time :D :D it was ded gud
also...weatherspoons is gay - no pool table, music, tvs etc....full of them bandit playing toss pots.....but....its gud for cheap alcohol...so im up for that :) lol..but to be fair theres plenty of nicer bars i can get cheap booze from so id rather go there any day - its right next to my work tho so wen i start back there ill b goin in again - its handy for a quick few pints at dinner :D |
